Pat Foley, CIC

President/Owner

Pat joined the Simpkins Foley Insurance Associates in 2012. He has over 25 years of Property and Casualty and Life Insurance experience. Before joining the agency, Pat held a position with Grange Insurance as a District Sales Manager.

He received the prestigious Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2002 and is committed to enhancing his knowledge of insurance. Pat dedicates himself to building client relationships based on trust and personal service, which are foundation principals of the Simpkins Foley Insurance Associates.

Pat is a graduate of Otterbein University and resides in his hometown of Waynesville with wife Kendra and their three children. Pat served 12 years as a Wayne Township Trustee and is an active supporter of many 4H programs. Pat thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family, vacationing and working on his farm. Steve Simpkins, CIC

Founder/Insurance Agent

Since establishing the Simpkins Foley Insurance Associates in 1972, Steve Simpkins has become popular throughout the Franklin, OH area as a leader in providing comprehensive insurance plans for both personal and commercial clients. His team follows his simple, yet effective, work ethic to this day, that is to provide unmatched customer service, along with the most affordable and comprehensive insurance policies.

Such a level of care in his work has made Steve to be recognized as one of the only insurance agents in the county to receive the prestigious FW Hurt Quality Agency Award from Erie Insurance, not once but thrice.

Steve takes great pride in his involvement in the community by being active in the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club. He was also an elected official of the Carlisle School Board for 14 years. His dedication to the community is truly unquestioned.

Billie Kercher, CISR

Customer Service Manager

Billie has been with Simpkins Foley Insurance Associates since 1998 and has over 25 years of insurance experience. In October 2001 she earned the Certified Insurance Service Representation Designation and is dedicated to constantly improving her insurance knowledge. She demonstrates commitment to professionalism and dedication to superior customer service by helping people understand their insurance needs.

Billie is a life long Franklin resident and graduate of the local High School. She enjoys spending time with her husband Bill and their two children and grandson. Billie is an avid basketball fan and loves to travel.

Todd Rice

Insurance Agent

Todd joined the Simpkins Foley Insurance Associates in 2013 and has over 25 years of experience in the Mortgage Lending and Insurance Industry. Being a licensed insurance agent with such experience allows Todd to provide the most competitive commercial, auto, and life insurance policies available.

Todd’s focus on client education allows you to fully understand insurance protection and provides the knowledge needed to make appropriate decisions for you and your family.

Todd resides in Waynesville, OH, with his wife and three children, is an active Chamber member, and is extensively involved with school and community programs.

Bryan Achtermann

Insurance Agent

Bryan joined the Simpkins Foley Insurance Associates in 2017 and has over 13 years of experience in law enforcement. He has a great understanding of agricultural insurance, as he raises show pigs and is a farmer in the Wilmington, OH area. He Resides in Jamestown, OH, with his wife and two children.

Bryan is focused and dedicated to educating each client about the importance of agricultural and commercial insurance policies to protect their greatest assets.

Greg Brogan

Insurance Agent

Greg joined Simpkins Foley Insurance Associates in late 2017. He has over 39 years of experience in diverse fields such as Banking, Salvage Auto Claims, Property, Casualty, and Life Insurance.

He attributes his business success to his Integrity, Professionalism, and Character, which has allowed him to build significant, long-term relationships with his clients.

Greg was born and raised in the market area and resides in Franklin.

Chonda Swanton

Personal Lines Insurance Agent

Chonda joined Simpkins Foley Insurance Associates in 2001 and has 18 years of experience as a licensed insurance agent. Her years of experience have strengthen customers long term relationships as she helps maintain every aspect of their insurance policies. During Chonda's free time, you will find her spending time with her husband, Jeff, her three children and 6 grand-children.

Kelley Purkey

Kelley joined Simpkins Foley Insurance Associates in November of 2021. Prior to Simpkins Foley Kelley worked for Wayne Local Schools for 18 years while raising her 3 daughters. During her tenure at Wayne Local Schools, she wore many hats with her two favorites being Elementary Secretary and the High School Volleyball Coach for 12 of those 18 years.

Kelley has 3 daughters and is looking forward to being a first-time grandma. Kelley made the decision to transition into insurance and further develop her business background continuing to help others. Kelley has a passion for being a team player and is looking forward to growing in every aspect of the insurance industry. In Kelley’s spare time you’ll find her enjoying time with her husband, her daughters, her growing family and being in the sunshine!

Leslie Schock

Leslie joined the Barton Foley family in January 2022. She has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and is committed to continuing her insurance education. Prior to joining the agency, Leslie spent 23 years with the Cannarozzi Insurance Agency. What she likes best about being an insurance agent is working one-on-one with clients. She has a strong attention to detail that is invaluable in servicing our clients’ needs.

Leslie graduated from Kettering Fairmont High School and is a long-time resident of West Carrollton. In her free time, Leslie enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.

Audrey Cox

Audrey has been in the Insurance Industry since November 2020. She has been Licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance since June 2021. Audrey is very attentive to detail and to each client’s individual needs. Client customer service is an area that Audrey excels in and enjoys the opportunity to further develop customer relationships.

With 28 years of Administrative Office experience, including Title/Mortgage Industry, she has a vast variety of knowledge that relates to the Insurance field.

Audrey is married, has 3 kids and 6 grandkids. In her personal time, she loves riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends.

Andrea Varabkanich

Andrea joined the Barton Foley team in 2022. She spent the past 27 years as a second-generation agency owner of Cannarozzi Insurance and has held roles on both the company and agency side of the insurance industry.

Andrea’s understanding of the insurance industry and her ability to analyze an insurance contract make her a valuable addition to the agency. While Andrea’s focus is on personal and small commercial insurance, she has a fondness for insuring special events and helping clients and attorneys with their executor and administrator bond needs.

Andrea is a graduate of Miami University, Oxford OH. She is a long-time resident of Miamisburg where she and her husband Joe raised their two children – and several cats. Andrea is a Netflix binge-watcher and in her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing games and cards, and participating in non-contact sports like bocce, billiards and darts. Above all, Andrea values time spent with family and friends.
